Greetings from Sri Lankan Chat

We warmly welcome you to our chat room.

Login to this chatroom. The next step is how to talk to people. Saying a nice greeting to everyone is the best way to catch someone's attention. If that doesn't work usually it's best to address someone with a question. For example, to ask someone a question you may want to use this format to do it and to talk to others the same way: Person's name: Your question

Most of the time you will get someone's attention this way. Try not to yell, this is where you either type in all capitals or use text editing to increase the font size and bold type of your message. In IRC's you can only type in all capitals, there is no text editing. It is another way of getting another chatter to talk to you, but it is considered to be rude unless you have no choice to, which is usually when no matter what you have said in the chat, everyone is still ignoring you even though you have not typed anything rude or insulting.

While you are at it, please make sure this service is used responsibly and any abusive behaviour or content can ban the users form using this service

Using profanity, harrasment or racial commments may get you locked out from this website with or without warnings

Circles

How Circles Work

After you sign in, the My Circle tab lets verified registered users shape a quieter space of their own, decide who can enter, and keep the conversation close-knit.

Illustration of creating a circle and inviting members

Think of it as your own corner inside the circle: familiar people, clearer boundaries, and circle settings you can revisit whenever the group changes.

Create Your Circle

Open My Circle from your profile info modal and save a circle that fits the kind of conversation you want to host.

Shape The Access

Personal circles are always members only, so the space starts private by design and stays focused on the people you choose to bring in.

Invite The Right People

Add registered users by name or share the circle invite link so the space stays personal, familiar, and easy to manage.

Keep It Friendly Members only circles stay visible only to the people who belong there after they sign in.
Update It Anytime You can return later to edit the circle, rotate members, or remove it when it no longer fits.
Built For Smaller Groups It works best when you want a steadier group for regulars, friends, or a focused ongoing conversation.
